|Let's be Sierra's voice!|
Just as so many others live that have been lost at the hands of police, Sierra life ended due to a callus police officer. Justice must be done to honor Sierra's life and death.
Sierra was a older Bully around 11 years old when she was killed. She was a rescue dog. She was eager to greet everyone at the door. The police did not announce themselves. When the lady open the door to see who was in her yard, Sierra went first to look. The police officer shot the dog once. Sierra turned and ran to the women for protection as she had for so many years. The officer shot Sierra again, killer her. The whole time the women was shouting, "please don't shoot". The callus response from the officer, "too late".
We need change of policy for people that are suppose to protect us and upkeep the law. Please join me and sign the petition to seek justice for Sierra. Click here for justice for Sierra
To many people and animals each day are harmed from people of higher authority. We must being justice for each one to end the madness. No life should be treated with unjust actions.
The police need to relearn when and what to apply for a real situation. The deadly force policy must change. Officer today, clearly do not know when to apply deadly force or not. If a officer is afraid to preform the job and applies deadly force to all situations needs to be removed from the police permanently.
We do not need officers that are fearful of animals or people. We need brave officers that know how to protect the innocent and arrest the ones that are not obeying the law.
Sierra' death is heartbreaking, as well as disappointing. Her death should not go in vain. All officers involved with the shooting should no longer be cops. Policy change is a must. Also, on a personal lesson, the dog does not go out to meet stranger, unless leashed tight by the pet parents side.
Sharing is caring. Please share Bully Love & Devotion to spread animals awareness and education, while helping to find homes for dogs in need.
